How these guides are made
The research and drafting behind this site were done with an AI assistant (Claude, from Anthropic), working under the direction of the site owner. The assistant read policy forms and regulator pages, wrote the drafts, built the calculators and the checking scripts, and audited its own work. That is not the same as review by a licensed insurance professional or an attorney.
Review status (as of October 27, 2026): no licensed insurance professional or attorney has reviewed any guide on this site. Each guide carries a note that says whether the site owner has read it and checked it against its sources. We will not describe a guide as professionally reviewed until a review has actually happened and the reviewer has approved the wording. Details are in our editorial policy.
